Gojiccino is here! – News and Updates – The Red Brick Cafe

goji On March 24 The Red Brick Cafe & Gift House had a tasting for a new drink that was released only 6 weeks before.  We had 5 groups in during the day for the testing.  We had great feedback from those who attended.  They tried unsweetened first and a few found that they needed a touch of honey to suit their taste buds.
Gojiccino now has a Facebook Fan Page.  To join this page: https://www.facebook.com/messages/#!/Gojiccino?fref=ts.  This will give you updates as to where Gojiccino is being sold and where it is scheduled for tastings.  It is a unique product that is unlike any other healthy drink you may have experienced.  We had people relating the taste to several different taste profiles.
The goji berry is native to southeastern Europe and Asia.  The berry is a bright orange-red berry 1–2-cm deep. The number of seeds in each berry varies widely, containing anywhere between 10–60 tiny yellow seeds that are compressed with a curved embryo. The berries ripen from July to October in the northern hemisphere.
To find out more about Gojiccino, you can visit their home site at www.gojiccino.com.  We even had a local celebrity, Brian James, and his wife Sherry attend the tasting.  We had a very nice surprise the next day when he mentioned us on the radio. All in all it was a very productive day!
Until next time…..
