Health Trek – Day One – Lifestyle – The Red Brick Cafe

healthOk, let’s get one thing straight right away, I am not perfect, nor do I claim to be.  This is simply a record of me trying to better myself by being kinder to myself and my surroundings.
I recently finished The Four Agreements and although it confirmed a lot of what I already believed, it gave me a new perspective and a new goal; to live by the Four Agreements.  A challenge on the best of days, I feel this ca help me optimize everything in my life.dry shampoo
I started making my own tooth polish a couple of months ago and have not regretted a single minute. It is a simple recipe with coconut oil and baking soda.  It does take a bit of getting used to but it is worth it when you consider you are slowly poisoning yourself with Floride.
Today I started with a dry shampoo.  It consists of corn starch and cocoa.  We will see how long I can last in breaking my shampoo habit. I have thin, fine hair that I have had to wash everyday since I was a teenager to avoid looking like an oil slick.  I am trying very hard too be inder to my hair.  It has been over a year since I stopped colouring my hair and people didn’t think I could do it then.
One day at a time…….I will keep you posted.
